Came to Avalon for the 1st time this past weekend, and NDMK was the 1st place we ate at, and oh my, did it not disappoint! This was by far one of the best places to eat on the island. Hands down the best Cioppino I've ever had. My mom had the tuna sandwich, and it was just as amazing! We will definitely be back to try different dishes. Had this to your stop when visiting the island.
We've been lucky enough to have visited Catalina island a few times and since the first time we came to NDMK, it became our place. We came back a few times, and every time it was delicious food. Very fresh and well seasoned. David was our waiter a couple of times. Always friendly and kind. Great at what he does. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance to visit Catalina again.
The restaurant seems to be serving locally caught fish and I could tell the difference while eating. I tried grilled salmon bowl and the rock roll. The quantity and quality of the food both were good. I am definitely gonna come back when I visit the island next.

Recommend: Clam chowder B rock roll (8 pieces, hot roll) Island of romance roll (8 pieces, cold roll) Seaweed salad Just getting these filled me and my husband up for lunch!!! I had such a lovely birthday lunch here. I would definitely come back to try more!! Highly recommend!!!
Another great restaurant in Santa Catalina Island (Avalon)! I love every dishes I’ve ordered and enjoyed every single bite. Everything here was so delicious, fresh, flavorful and excellent service. You did a great job.
The food here was PHENOMENAL. Their service was prompt but not overbearing. I had the Swordfish with house dipping sauce was delicious, the wife's halibut fish collar with the eel and tobiko sauce was rich and flavorful and my daughter's Island Romance Sushi Roll was very tasteful. The local Merrick Lager was one of the few lagers Ive drank that I actually liked and resembled a less hoppy IPA with the citrus flavors. Now to the house fries. If you opt for ANYTHING BUT the NDMK House fries, you are are doing a disservice to your appetite. The house seasoning with the eel and tobiko sauce covering was MIND BLOWING delicious. The prices were very reasonable for fresh caught fish that they go out and catch. We will definitely be back! This restaurant alone would make coming back to Catalina Island worth it. Thanks NDMK for such a great experience!
Everything was delicious, cooked well and the waiting time was very reasonable. We loved the sushi as well as the ceviche. Overall I recommend this place if you are looking for seafood and drinks.
Everything was delicious, Fish and ship with Pacific Halibut was the best!! I recommend to eat here!! And the staffs were so nice and helpful.
